The itinerary for this Brilliance of the Seas cruise provided 6 ports (Le Havre, Plymouth, Cobh, Faroe Islands, Iceland - two days, and Halifax) on the way to Boston, as well as 7 sea days - 4 consecutive days between Iceland and Halifax.

Thoughts about the ports:

- Le Havre itself is not a great destination. Its best attraction is a museum of modern art, with work of the Impressionists and post-Impressionists who worked in the area. Several of the ship's excursions (specifically, to Paris and Normandy) are quite long and may exhaust travelers who have flown overnight to Heathrow the day before.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E1

Cabin 9060 is conveniently located halfway between the Centrum (route to dining room on Decks 4 and 5, and to Windjammer Cafe on 11) and aft (route to theater). Suitcases fit under the bed, and storage space is plentiful.

As in most ships' bathrooms, the shower was designed for a skinny person. On the other hand, water pressure was strong.

Avoid cabins too close to the Centrum; music lasts / blasts until 11 pm some nights.

Port Reviews

Le Havre

Took a cab to and from MuMo, the museum of modern art. Enjoyable art and a quick trip the day after a long day of flights.
