Our two previous crusies were with Disney, and unfortunately, considering what we paid, Carnival is just not in the same class. The service on Carnival was mediocre at best. Nobody tried very hard to help you or to fix any issues.(except the dinner waiters) The spa staff we experienced were AWFUL, always trying to upsell you something else leaving you stressed the whole time. Would definitely avoid the spa. You overpay for average service and they harrass you to buy more! Not a relaxing spa experience at all!!!!

The food was the worst, most of it tasted pretty lousy and there werent enough options. Portons at dinner were tiny and finding other outlets/variety open throughout the day was a real issue. The sushi restaurant was good, but you have to pay extra for it. The green water slide (the only decent one) was closed most of the cruise. The ports (Fl and Bahamas were pretty awful but we made the best of it) The Freeport stop was a joke, not enough time for anything, getting there at 7:00 am and leaving at 1:30...why bother! We found the ships layout to be annoying and choppy. The pools were too crowded and we often found ourselves bored and looking for something interesting to do. Kids hated the teen kids club, they went to try it two or three times and there was never anyone there, no guests, no crew...nothing... and very small, plain and closed in. They gave up.

Also if you choose this cruise, expect to never find a lounge by the pool, they say they enforce no saving lounges, but good luck getting help with that, we saw a very upset customer basically get ignored by a crew member when he complained about lounges with towels on them for hours and no one actually using them! Expect the pools/hot tubs to be so packed you cant enjoy them anyway.
