We did a land tour first and then a seven night cruise southwards of the Inside Passage on the Pacific Princess. This was our first cruise and we are now hooked. The land tour which was also organised by Princess was well planned, we had a great Tour Director with us who was very knowledgable and helpful, and we felt we learned a great deal about life in Alaska.
The boarding process at Anchorage was well organised and we enjoyed being on a smaller ship of 670 passengers and around 300 crew. Food was excellent, particularly the buffet, the staff were attentive and cheerful, entertainment and presentations were also great and there were also lots of viewing areas on the boat without feeling too crowded. Our inside cabin 8036 was also great, plenty of storage, quiet, comfy bed and pillows and a lovely cabin steward. Good value for money as we were only in it to sleep. We thoroughly enjoyed our time on Pacific Princess and would recommend to others.
Comfy, quiet, good storage, great mattress and pillows, excellent cabin steward.
