The food was terrible. We ate at Chops and had to send our steaks back 2 times and finally just told them to keep it. It was so tough you couldn't cut it. The meat served in the Tides was not good. There was too much time at sea and the excursions were way too long. We signed up for the beverage package for $55 per day per person and was charged $65 per day per person. We were also charged 4 gratuities of $12.95 per day. We went to see the movie on bears and waited 20 minutes and the movie never did come on. The charge for bingo was outrageous. I found no interest in the lectures on the ship....napkin folding, towel folding and cupcake decorating....really. Our stateroom attendant was very good and so was our dining servers. Other than that it was not a good experience. The captain did a heck of a job getting us to see the tracy arm fjord glacier, that was really cool. Our dinner reservations were at 8 so we never got to see the entertainment. My husband had a massage and they spent more time trying to sell him things than they did giving the massage. He just wanted a massage and the woman gave him a facial he didn't want and charged us $50.
The cabin was ok. Rather typical of cruise ships. Nothing special.
Victoria was beautiful. We had fun exploring on our own. We took a bicycle tour which was very good but the guy ripped us off at the end. He said the 1 hour tour was $30 per person and he took us back to the ship and then charged us $45 per person.
Seattle was very expensive.
