The Carnival Dream was a pleasant surprise. Although more than 8 years old, the ship is well maintained and brightly decorated. Our cove cabin on deck 2, the Main deck, was enjoyable. We liked being near the waves, and as far as ship cabins go, it was a good size. We were worried that our cabin would be noisy, but cabin # 2273 was not. Our previous cabin was more mid-ship, but over the galley, and so, before the cruise we had Carnival change us to # 2273. The food in the MDR was pretty good, while the Entertainment was excellent.

The buffet lines were brutal! Carnival should try to fix that! Also, Carnival should offer more activities to do during the day. At any rate, we really enjoyed our cruise, and believe that Carnival has done a good job of re-establishing itself when it comes to customer service. Most all of the staff was great. Service was good. Oh, BTW, Hennie, the Cruise Director, was a scream ... very friendly and fun!

Cabin Review

Cove Balcony

Cabin 7C

Fairly good size for a cruise ship cabin. Cove cabins on deck 2, the Main deck, are closer to the water, and so, are pleasant and enjoyable. Cabin steward did a great job, but was not all that friendly.
