Just back from a lovely cruise round Italy and Croatia. Dont know what all the poor reviews on this ship are about - she is just as good now as she was 10 years ago! We had a family cabin with bunk beds but they were quite adequate for two teenagers with enough space for all of us (most of the time). The food was good with a choice of "posh" dining or buffet and in fact you could eat all day long (and some people did). One little niggle - on the sail days it was a job to find sunbeds for four if you didnt get by the pool early enough and definitely not allowed to reserve beds as after 20 minutes your belongings were removed so beware! We only did one excursion to Venice as I know from previous experience that to ride on a gondola is expensive if you do it yourself and the water taxis are too so that was good value at £46 each. We saw Pisa on the local bus and Pompei by taxi. It was very hot and very crowded and quite a way to walk if you have any difficulties in this area. Dubrovik is lovely - where we went for a boat ride. We opt out of paying the daily gratuity fee as this would have worked out really expensive for 4 of us so we did it ourselves at the end of the cruise. All in all we had a great time.
Ample for 4 people and our steward worked really hard.
Took local bus to Pisa.
Went by taxi to the old town.
