I've read many of the reviews, both the positive ones and the negative ones. However, I'm shocked by the few remarks regarding the crew. If you treat them with respect and courtesy, they will do the same. If you befriend them, they will befriend you back. Now... everyone has a bad day - even you and me. And unlike you and me, the crew sometimes work 12 hours so that just makes a bad day drag on longer. A little compassion for them goes a long long way. Remember, you are on vacation but the crew are humans and they have what you want so, you reap what you sow.

Personally, I found the crew on the Pride to be extremely courteous, going above and beyond to make sure I had the best vacation, they could make. I talked with them... asked them where they were from, asked about their families, and they couldn't stop smiling. In a very short time, every crew member I met knew my name even if we were meeting for the 2nd time. While you do sign for everything, some even conveniently remembered my folio number from my sign & sail card. They all taught me a lot humanity more than I could give back. That was the best enrichment activity I could have ever imagined.

Jerrewut (Indonesia) was my cabin stewart. He was great. He got to know my routine and "did his thing" when he knew I wasn't in the room. Kevin, Nick and Gary (I think) did a great job entertaining us. Renzo (Peru), Anton (Belarus) at the Lobby Bar, Anton's crew cabin mate, Roystone (India) served up the best drinks with a smile. Anton was also at the Bell Bar on Half Moon Cey. He's a great guy and I hope he and his girlfriend have a wonderful when she comes to visit in a few weeks. The lobby bartenders never leave you thirsty. Sudhir (India) at Serenity was so nice - it took him 3rd time to remember my name but we laughed about it and he never forgot me after that. Bernardo (Philippines) was remarkable. This guy was serving up drinks around Serenity during the day and waiting on us in Normandie during late seating dinners. Kristijan (Croatia, I think) in David's was a wonderful waiter. He likes mixed martial arts (MMA). Then, there was Steffon (Bosnia), one of the photographers. This guy was VERY good. Seek him out. He could make the Hunchback of Notre Dame look like $1million in 2 dimensions.

The cabin accommodations were great. Jerrewut and his team kept the room spotless. Once, I got to watch him make a Long Horn steer from the towels. I recommend a balcony room. There were nights when I slept on the balcony.
