"Another don't-miss is Norwegian's signature Chocoholic's Buffet, held once per cruise on each ship. It's a magnificent sight to behold. " This quote is simply untrue as there was never a chocolate buffet..on two separate occasions we had water pouring from the ceiling in the hallway...4 to 5 buckets were placed on the floor to collect it...and when the weather turned cold our section of the ship had no working heat for one night and one day...our room steward offered us a one person coverup type blanket. The entertainment ranged from excellent to hastily improvised (an Elvis tribute with false starts and some onstage ego problems)...
Spacious and clean...small bathroom
Even though we did not take an excursion we viewed the city with a personal driver in his suburban and found Tampa to be a beautiful interesting vibrant city.
after leaving the ship we we're very excited to see several species of birds and monkeys at the small port shop area… We found a Van driver who took several of us to see some of the Area highlights… But the main reason for his trip was to take us to an emerald buying store
A beautiful city didn't expect to see such a gorgeous bay! A gentleman with his own van took us to places that were so beautiful and we got to see the cliff divers as well all included in his price! Much cheaper than the ships!
we hired some pedi-cabs and visited a special place called John's for lunch… Visited a jewelry store for some jewelry purchases...areally great place to see see
Allioto's for lunch, Ghiardelli's Square for chocolate ice cream cones… Beautiful stores to meander through not to mention seafood everywhere and Street entertainers...
Since we live in Southern California a trip to LA is not on our bucket list, ha ha!!
I noticed several people walking in the direction of a bad area to be in so perhaps the ship should have warned them not to go in that direction?
