My Dad and I went on this trip together. We previously traveled on the Celebrity Millenium and had a great time so it's nice to have a comparison point.

We reserved an "obstructed view" room, Emerald Deck, 8th deck, E 414. Not at all obstructed, you get a great view! Plenty of closet and cabinet room for two people for a seven plus night cruise. The "closet" is an open area outside of the bathroom which can be partially private changing area. Beds, pillows and linens were all very comfortable and in good condition. Flat screen tv. Typical and appropriate bathroom, no complaints. Shampoo/conditioner combo and body wash provided in pump containers in the shower. Lotion and soap also provided. Wall mounted hairdryer, a bit wimpy but functional.

Our room steward, I believe his name was Remus, did a great job. We never wanted for anything and he took very good care of our room.

Port Reviews

Seattle

The pier and embarkation process went just fine. We used a Princess arranged transfer from airport to pier and this was fine as well. The transfer bus driver was informative and helpful.

Ketchikan

We love Ketchikan. While I am sure the excursions at this port are fun we don't feel the need for one because doing Ketchikan on your own is very simple. We visited the shops on Creek Street and a couple close to the cruise dock. We visited the history museum attached to the public library; it's a three dollar entry fee and very interesting. I also love the Parnassus book store, the only and staff are so very nice!

Victoria

I used the shuttle service booked through Princess. I walked on the wharf and watched a street performer, this was really fun. Then I walked up and down the main tourist shop street and made a few fun purchases. There were also some quaint looking pubs in this area as well that would be fun to visit.
