We have sailed on the Carnival Magic 3 times over the past four years. We find the ship, service and ports are perfect for our wide range of age groups. We have children ages 12, 19, 21, 24, 25 and we are in our early 50's. This cruise had something for everyone. We booked 3 cabins and connected the balconies so that we had easy access to each cabin via the balcony. This also made one huge balcony for us all to enjoy together. Each time we have sailed on the Magic, our staff was incredible. Everyone from the room stewards to the waiters in the dining room ....all were great. My older children and husband loved the comedy club and the casino. My young daughter and I enjoyed family movies at the seaside theater and lots of fun in the arcade. Our shore excursions were perfect.

At Mahogany Bay in Roatan we booked the Carnival excursion at the Carnival beach right by the port. It was perfect for us. We rode the sky lift over to the beach, got our chairs and then the girls and I went back to shop. Then took our packages to the ship and hopped back on the sky lift and went back to the beach for the rest of the day. It was wonderful and not overly crowded. At Belize, we booked through an independent shore excursion company and spent the day at the gorgeous Goff's Caye. It was the perfect day! The island only takes so many people so that it is not crowded at all. Book early though because once it's full, they won't book any other people. At Cozumel, we decided to just sleep in and shop at the port and relax. We shopped and then went back to the ship for lunch (since it was free) and then went back and shopped some more. The guys stayed on board the ship and swam and napped and then we all met and walked around Cozumel a little more before boarding the ship for dinner and the trip home.

Our days at sea were always full. We would eat breakfast in the dining room while the kids slept in and then we met them at the pools or the water slides. We would go to the casino, shop on board, watch movies in the room or just play games on deck 5. We never were lacking for things to do. I would highly recommend Carnival Magic to anyone with any age of kids! There is something for everyone. You can do as much, or as little as you want and the staff is wonderful. We will be sailing on Carnival Breeze this year and heading to the Eastern Caribbean. I hope we enjoy it as much as the Magic!

Cabin 8E

Our cabins were always clean, lots of storage, and perfect for sleeping, naps, watching tv and relaxing. The bathrooms are teeny but it's fun and unique! The rooms are small, of course, because you are on a cruise.....you should be out enjoying yourself, not sitting in your room for 7 days! lol
