My husband and I both agreed that this was one of the very best cruises that we have been fortunate to go on. We met great people, the food and service well presented and satisfying. The ship is looking its age but was very clean and well looked after by crew members. Excellent shows We will cruise on the Sun Princess again and would highly recommend the New Zealand cruise. Thank you Princess.

Looking forward to our next cruise in May on the Royal Carribean Legend of the Seas from Honolulu to Sydney Australia.

Cabin Review

Cabin was clean,quiet, and comfortable.

Port Reviews

Napier

A very different 1920 style City. Very friendly people. An excellent antique shop at the far end of the shopping mall. Lots of buses to transport from the ship to the town. A lovely touch are the 1920 cars and the ladies doing the Charleston dance.

Tauranga

We enjoy walking and spent most of the day just taking in the sights. Great coffee shops and very friendly people. Attempted to climb the hill but decided to walk around as it is quite steep.the view from the top would be incredible.

Auckland

Shopping and walking, an easy city to walk around. The museum is a really worth a visit, we spent a couple of hours there. We would certainly do this cruise again.

Wellington

Windy Wellington was a nice city. We walked miles. Good for shopping. A group of us hired a mini bus and we toured the city for 4 hours. The mini buses are available as you disembark from the ship. Lots of people around the port who are so very willing to advise you on where you choose to go.

Akaroa

A beautiful part of the world. A must see. Great pub on the water front with very chatty friendly locals who enjoy talking about their home town. Probably my favourite place. A walk to the light house is a must. A very pretty place and happy people.

Sydney (Australia)

We live in Australia and visit the city often, white bay is not the easiest of ports to get to. We prefer Circular quay as it is on a train line. Sydney is a great city and visitors would need time to take advantage of its beauty.
