Although I liked the ship and the crew, I found that there was not enough to keep me busy in terms of trivia, karaoke, etc on sea days. What activities there were happened for the most part very late at night when I was ready for bed. Jen is a great cruise director though! She's very upbeat and full of tons of energy. We've sailed with her before and we expected nothing less than what we got with her. She even sent strawberries and champagne to our room one night, which we really appreciated. I'm not sure what we expected from the Past Guest party, but it wasn't exactly what I thought it was going to be. It was held in the theatre and most people just kinda sat there while the waiters went around with drinks and snacks. I loved the bacon cheesecake they had at the Past Guest party..one of the best desserts I've ever had.

I know a lot of people here on Cruise Critic have ragged on the Playlist production shows but I really enjoyed all of the ones they had on the Freedom. I like the Playlist productions because they can change out the shows more easily and more often than the old style productions.

Cabin Review

Ocean View

Cabin 6A

Larger than I expected and it was kind of awesome to be able to look out the window every morning. :D

Port Reviews

Galveston

Embarkation was really easy. We got to the port a bit late, but we were taken care of quickly and easily. We really like sailing out of Galveston. Galveston is best port.
