Sail Date: Mar 2008
Cabin: Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

This was our 8th cruise; first on RCCL. We have sailed Princess (4), Holland America (2) and Celebrity (1) and are in our mid 50's.

We stayed in the Dadeland Marriott as arranged by RCCL, close to shopping and restaurants. The shuttle to the pier was for noon Monday, and other than a little late, there were no issues; on board by 1:30, cabin was ready; luggage arrived a couple of hours later.

Ship is mid size that is very user friendly. Although the cruise was sold out, crowds were not a problem for us. Our cabin was a deluxe ocean view with balcony. Our steward was Eric and he made every effort to assist us. However, he appeared to be constrained by RCCL policy. Every cruise we have been on has offered robes, Eric told us that they were reserved for Platinum and above Crown & Anchor members only, requested shampoo/conditioner and were told only the mixture attached to shower wall was available. No hand lotion. Requested shower cap; it was provided; requested additional pillows and they were provided. Bring your own reading material as the library is quite small given the size of the ship.
