My friend who cruises often said I was going to have to be pulled down to Earth after my cruise, because I was going to have the time of my life and be treated like a princess. Well..she never cruised Norwegian.

The food was awful, the staff treated me more like a serf than a princess, and I was more than happy to leave Miami for St. Louis when the cruise was done. My balcony cabin which was supposed to accommodate 3-4 was cramped--just for little 5'2"me. It smelled, and the carpet looked like it hadn't been cleaned for 5 years. The only way to get onboard cash was at the casino ATM--$5/transaction.

Unless you like to drink, smoke, gamble or watch cheesy shows--nothing interesting to do on the ship.
