Background Information Our cruise was 3/18/07 - 3/25/07. We have cruised 5 times, this was our 2nd on NCL. We went with 4 other couples that we met on a previous NCL cruise.

New Orleans We arrived a day early in NO (St Patty's Day). This was awesome. If you want to experience Mardi Gras at a much calmer level, I would recommend going on St Patty's Day. We had a blast - it was not real crowded and the "flashing" was minimum.

Hotel Info We stayed at the Pelham Hotel. The hotel was a couple blocks from the French Quarter/Bourbon Street and Harrah's Casino. Great location. The rooms were vintage NO style and very nice. NOTE: If you book a room with only one bed they are kind of small. We had a room with 2 double beds and it was good size. Cost was $119+tax. Read more
