My wife and I enjoy cruising. We are in our late 60's . We took the 3 night cruise from Port Liberty NJ to see what this new ship had to offer. Since we live in New Jersey we were able to drive to the port and park.

Parking is rather limited and it took about 15 minutes just to get into the lot. We stayed in a stateroom with a balcony. The stateroom was a little on the small side, but nice. Unfortunately the ship had lost the credit card link for our sea pass and therefore we could not charge purchases with the sea pass. This was fixed after four trips to Guest Services. At Guest Services we had to wait in line approx. 10 minutes each time we visited them. We ate in three if the restaurants. "Silk" and "Jamie Oliver's" were excellent- good food and good service. The American Icon restaurant was only "Fair" and the service was terrible. We had wanted to go to some of the other restaurants, but the ship computer also lost all of our dinner reservations, and nothing could be done to fix this.

We went on "Northstar" but had to wait in line outside on deck for 1.5 hours, and when we got to the end of the line, it malfunctioned and closed for the day, so we had to go back a second day and wait in line again. Read more
