We went on our 1st cruise on the Princess Caribbean. It was great. Our last cruise was on the Emerald. When we arrived at the terminal it was a nightmare to park and board, We stood in line for over 3 hours just to check in. When we finally got on the ship they immediately had a muenster drill and everyone was starving and very tired. Did not find the crew very informative or friendly. They seemed kind of confused and lost.

More than once going to eat at the grill or Pizzeria the staff were very deadpan and unfriendly. The food in both the formal dining rooms and the buffet we sub-par at best. Out average time to eat in the dining rooms took 1 1/.2 hrs or sometimes more. There was not a lot of live entertainment going on. Certain parts of the ship smelled really bad.... like mildew and sewage.

We did enjoy our excursions (one which was booked not thru the ship). Not enough smoking areas. When wanting a beverage you really had to hunt someone down and search for an open bar. Then when we arrived back to the terminal it took forever to disembark and get out of the parking lot. Our experience on the Princess Caribbean was like night and day compared to the Emerald. We will definitely sail with Princess again but NOT ON THIS SHIP!!!!!!!!

Cabin Review

Cabin was nice. Shower way to small. Had to much extra furniture.
