It takes a special type of person to be shipbound for over 5 days in a row. But my travel partner and I really wanted to see Norway, Iceland, and some other ports-of-call, so we just it. Paid a bundle to get a nice outside cabin with a large window, but it was on the port side of the ship - not the docking side. We did have a nice view, and a great cabin steward.

However, I was expecting some 'extras' because we booked as a group thru an unnamed travel agent in Sarasota. Usually I have received some shipboard credit, or a bowl of fruit in the cabin, or a few complimentary minutes online. We got none of these.

The entertainment was great, and lucky all the passengers didn't go because the theatre would only hold 1/3 of the guests. That was okay for the musical productions, because they repeated hem twice, however, some speeches/presentations were only given once. With 1500 passengers, the Centrum couldn't hold 1/20th of them, as there were only about 50 big comforatble seats plus ledges and planters to sit on. There was no library as such, but a small area with bookcases, where they distributed 'trivia' and 'sukoku' sheets daily. This was the main form of self entertainment.
