This is an amazing ship with lots of amenities; tons of things to do and see, and plenty of restaurants and bars. Expect lines for most things most times of the day s there are thousands of people on board. The ship has an amazing layout and is very easily negotiable; I have been lost on other ships for days before learning my way around but this ship is simple. The shows and entertainment were all top notched with excellent musicians in the bars at night as well as great evening shows and a perfectly amazing ice show.

The food was excellent especially in Portofino, the specialty restaurant. The bars were always fun and lively, but you may need to wait or walk around to find space for more than two as most of the amenities are usually crowded. Count on waiting for seating, mini-golf, the rock-climbing wall, etc.; in fact, I would count on waiting for just about everything. The huge ships have more and more people as well as the amenities.

The ship is showing signs of wear and some of the staterooms are simply dated and worn out with failing fixtures, phones and electronics. Most of the common areas are well maintained and decorated, but the less travelled spaces need work. She is however scheduled for a major refurbishment in Spring of 2015.

Cabin Review

Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Excellent room configuration with lots of storage. Very dated décor with failing shower head and doors, stained bathroom countertops, sinks, toilet, etc. Broken telephone and TV remote. I had to move the couch one day to find something that fell behind it and I don't think it had been clean back there since installation. The good news is the ship goes in for refurbishment this next Spring...I hope they do the staterooms.
