NCL offered a free 2 night cruise aboard the Getaway for travel industry people & press out of NYC on January 27. The newest member of NCL's fleet had just made it's maiden transatlantic journey and was in NYC for the Super Bowl as it was chartered as the Bud Light Hotel. My wife and I are both in our 30's ad have no kids. We are very laid back and down to earth...not uppity at all.

There were Pros & Cons about the Getaway & the cruise in general.

Pros:

Cabin Review

We had a mid-ship balcony & it was hands down the smallest cabin I've ever had on a ship before. The balcony was rediculously small...have to put the chairs on an angle just so your knees aren't hitting the glass. The shower was like being in a coffin & the only outlets were by the phone...not near the bed.
