The Celebrity Millennium was a nice boat to cruise on with wonderful destinations. However, it was the first cruise for a lot of the crew and there was definitely a language barrier. It took four nights for our waiter to understand the difference between medium rare and well done. We elected to have breakfast in the dining room most mornings as the buffet lines were unorganized and people were attacking it from any direction they pleased, breaking into lines and causing confusion amongst the fellow passengers and servers. Our breakfast orders were correct about one out of every four orders…again language barriers.

It was our Cabin Stewarts first ever cruise and we were on the concierge level. Not good planning. After a couple of days we ran out of soap and shampoo and had to instruct him to replace those items on a regular basis. We also asked that fresh ice be in our room each day at 4 PM. It rarely happened.

On a better note, the Captain was highly visible and we were able to speak with him on several occasions on a personal level. He was a great guy, highly knowledgable, and his management staff listened to our concerns and made every attempt to see we were satisfied.

Cabin Review

Other than what was stated above, our cabin had a bug infestation either in the bed or in the fabric headboard. Both my wife and I suffered numerous bug bites and it took four days to rid the room of the bugs.
