Seven day Thanksgiving cruise, western caribbean, weather iffy, which was no fault of theirs, but they could of made up for it with better food and service.
Biggest gripe..LINES, in the buffet on the lido, you waited for everything, coffee, eggs. bacon, etc. all in separate lines! No table service unless you managed to snag a seat in the "mariner" designated tables, which were few and far between! After the second day, we resorted to room service breakfast, which was delivered hot and promptly.
We had main seating in the dining room, at the back where they had a long walk to the kitchen, after the second night, we started to dine at Tamarind, one of the specialty restaurants, yes, an upcharge but at least the food was edible! And, the waitstaff were attentive and prompt, something that we lacked in the dining room. The dining room dinner menu consisted of two vegan and two regular entrees, most of the time, inedible! They even messed up turkey on Thanksgiving, a medallion of turkey per person and lousy dressing and NO mashed potatoes, and the guests were mainly American!
