This was our first Celebrity cruise & what a disappointment, we were always told that if RCL was 4 star, Celebrity was 5 star plus, definitely not the case, especially regarding the MIllennium. The ship is old, tired and lacked "soul" especially at night. We should have taken note of the negative reviews before we booked, but we wanted the itinery - mistake!.

We started off in Sydney, with the first night in the Menzies hotel, good location, but the hotel was not to a very good standard.

We were collected from the hotel & taken to the ship in Circular Key the next day. As we were in Aqua class were entitled to priority embarkation, what a joke, stood in line 1.5 hours where the other people flowed through the checks.
