Just returned from 32 day Caribbean cruise on Balmoral. Absolutely fabulous except for the All-inclusive guests (the most of them) Drinking seems to be a way of life for many, so good luck to the and their livers. However when it seriously intrudes on the enjoyment of other guests, I draw the line.
The usual range of middle-aged men prop up the bar from coffee time to dinner on sea days. They sit there getting louder and louder (and uncouth) Spoiling other people's relaxation in the Morning Light pub, and the musicians when they are playing. In the lounges in the evening others are at massive consumption in a small time, so performers are drowned out by raucous talking/ laughter. which again spoils the majority enjoyment.
It goes on over dinner too in the Ballindoloch restaurant the noise was incredible, to the point that people opted for peace in the palms café, where drinks were harder to order!
Cabin OK, a leak from the shower rectified in 12 hours. a bit worn everywhere, especially the carpets outside the cabin which were grubby.
