We felt that we were well prepared for this cruise, thanks from the reviews that we had read. The process of boarding did seem a little overwhelming for first time cruisers. It was as if we were in college registration lines. It was a good place to meet fellow cruisers as we moved slowly through the line.
We were very pleased with our cabin, located on the 9th level, center ship with a balcony. We have heard people complain about the small showers, they were fine. The HOT water in the shower was great. I've never been anywhere that had such hot water. We loved it.
We enjoyed the anytime dining and causal dress for meals. We ate most of our meals at the Seven Seas Main dining room. By the second evening the hostess knew who we were and we never had to give her our key card. We chose to eat our meals with other guests at tables of six or eight. This was a positive experience dining with people from allover the world. Only one meal did we wish that we had dined by ourselves. On the first night my wife ask for a replacement for her soup because it was cold. They quickly returned with a "hot" bowl of soup. The next afternoon when we returned our room there was a plate of chocolate dipped strawberries in our room with a nice note stating that they were sorry for our inconvenience at dinner the night before. We didn't expect this, my wife just likes her soup warm to hot.
