While my wife and are relatively new to the cruise world (7 cruises) but it doesn't take a brain surgeon's expertise to know when a cruise is much less than it should be.

If you like hard working, pleasant crew members the EotS is the ship for you. If you like organized, smooth embarkation and debarkation the EotS is for you. If you like great public areas that are interesting, well maintained and accommodating the EotS is for you.

If you think country club casual clothes for dinner should include 1 1/2" wide suspenders over an "Old Guys Rule" T shirt and 40"+ jeans the EotS is the ship for you. If your idea of formal night is a polo shirt and some wash and wear khakis the EotS is for you. If you like wonderful dinner menus that describe a meal that you will never get the EotS is for you. If you like room carpeting that has coffee stains from the last decade the EotS is for you. If your idea of bathroom toiletries is a bar of soap and one of those plastic push button, all purpose lotions in the shower the EotS is for you. If you like to mix with fellow passengers who equate quantity of food with quality the EotS is for you.

Cabin Review

Oceanview Stateroom

Cabin H

Cabin 2292 was an ocean view window. The carpeting had coffee stains from several past cruises and the irony was that the crew was replacing the carpeting two doors down. The toiletries were a bar of soap and a push button all purpose lotion in the shower. It was no noisier than most cabins on the second floor. Initially the cabin was very difficult to find because one has to go up to the fourth floor to cross over and take the elevator down. Then the "You are here" signs were not accurate. Nowhere was our cabin room mentioned on the signs. The first night it took us 45 min. to find the room despite the fact that we asked several crew members for help and I was an Eagle Scout. The secure location did limit the hallway noise. The room was cleaned every day and our cabin attendant was great.
