My partner and I have a Bucket List and a cruise was one of the items on this list. We decided to do this cruise after a message from an old golfing buddy from Australia advised that he and his wife would be passing through England to join a Baltic cruise and "Why don't we join them"? A few phone calls and emails later and we were on.

We drove from Southport to Harwich with and overnight stop in Cambridge and arrived at the terminal at about 10.30am. As we had prepaid for the Cruise Parking, we went where directed, dropped of our baggage, caught the shuttle to the terminal building, checked in at the RCCL desk and received our SeaR and this is Pass cards. Walked on board the ship and up to The Windjammer for lunch. All very painless and very efficient.

We were advised that our stateroom was ready and went to check it out, it was a balcony stateroom on deck 7. and was an "access" stateroom which meant that it was a bit bigger than the standard balcony stateroom . We had upgraded from an Oceanview to a Balcony S/R and this was what we were assigned to. Very nice indeed.
