We cruised on the Seabourn small ships before but our first cruise on the new, larger vessels was in January 2013 from Sydney to Auckland. We enjoyed this cruise so much we endured the long flight once more from Florida to join the Odyssey in Singapore for a very interesting repositioning trip to Dubai via India.

Embarkation was delayed because the computer system went down but after that it was clear and smooth sailing. The seas were the calmest I've experienced in over 30 cruises.

Our first stop was Phuket where we took the ship's tour to the limestone islands, fantastic sightseeing.Next we had four stops in India, including an overnight in Mumbai. This was our first visit to india and we were pleasantly surprised. Friendly people, incredible sights and chaos, etc.
