First time on Oceania line. First time on a smaller ship (700 or so passengers). Terrific experience overall and a wonderful series of ports in Brazil, Uraguay and Argentina.
Highlights: food, service, housekeeping, complimentary water and soft drinks, bar and wine staff, cruise director (Leslie Jon), premium restaurant (Toscana), cruise entertainment staff, veranda, ample deck seating, excellent Terrace Cafe for all meals, no annoying photographers, and a ship Master/Captain with personality.
Wishes to be Different: casino slots boring with mechanical problems, cramped card room, few at sea day activities available, uneven entertainment (Juggler Michael Mena), Polo premium restaurant, mixed server competency in the Main Dining Room, and very costly shore excursions that don't quite live up to Oceania's reputation.
Cabin 6085 on Regatta, with veranda. Three cabins away from aft on ship. Quiet location not near stairs or lifts. Little hallway traffic. One deck over main dining room, no noise noticeable at any time. Overall cabin is very quiet and soundproof.
