This is our fourth cruise. First on NCL. The embarkation process went extremely smoothly. From the time our bus arrived at the Houston Port until the time we were in our cabin was about 10 minutes. We arrived at noon hour and had time for a quick nap.

The ship and cabin were in spotless condition. Overall the decor is a little subdued but very functional. The only comment about the food on day one. They advertise an early meal deal for all the speciality restaurants we chose "East meets West" sat in the steak side and then politely told that the special does not include lobster, nor does it include porterhouse and excluded about 1/2 the menu. When it was all said and done the special was not worth it. The only other comment was that on Princess which has speciality restaurants as well. When you are sitting across from your significant other there is nothing more romantic than a basketball hitting the window over your table. This does not happen on Princess.

First port stop was Cozumel. The damage there was unbelievable. The people of the this island need the tourists. This is their primary income. So take time to do some shopping and diving. You will feel good. Tendering here took a while but I will address that on the second port. This is our fifth time down to this Island. It will take time for all the repairs to be done. The next port was Belize and this is where we found out if you are not a VIP card carrying passenger or you have not purchased a Ship sponsored tour you will wait, then wait some more then wait additional time all the while you see tenders coming and going and nobody on the ship will tell you when you will be called. Two hours after dropping anchor they called tickets 1-100. We were 121 & 122 another 1/2 hour later and we were on our way. The tender organization was a bit disappointing. All I can say is, if you have plans then be at the champagne bar @ 08:00 to get your tickets early.
