Our Sun cruise was our second this year so it is difficult not to make comparisons to the Royal Caribbean Rhapsody of the Seas. In doing so, we found both good and bad, so let's start at the beginning.
Since we really were not planning a second cruise - until we found a great price - we went with an inside stateroom this time. That was certainly adequate for us, and it was convenient to everything. Rooms were larger on this cruise that on the RCI. When you go, don't forget your power strip and night light, especially if you have inside. There is only one plugin and an inside room gets very dark.
Embarkation was smooth, although you still have the "cattle car" feel. We arrived at 11:30 and were on board by 12:15. Had a leisurely buffet lunch and bags were in the room by mid-afternoon.
