My mother wanted to take my whole family on a cruise. Thanks to our travel agent's advice we chose Allure of the Seas. We were 7 people in total. (1 senior, 3 adults, two 20 yr olds, and one 16 yr old). While this was my first cruise, the boat was nicer than I expected. Everything was clean and new. Cleanliness on the boat seemed to be a priority.

We stayed in 2 rooms with an ocean view and balcony and 1 room with a balcony over the boardwalk. All of the rooms were similar in size and accommodations. The rooms were very clean, there was a flat screen tv with movies to rent and some cable channels. The shower was small, but fine. There was a refrigerator, a sofa, a desk, some side tables and a closet. One of our rooms was for 3 people, so the sofa pulled out into a bed. Every morning the room was cleaned. Every night the room was straightened, the sofa bed was made, and the next day itinerary was left. We also enjoyed the sculptures made out of towels and left on the bed for us.
