Pre-Cruise - We flew out of PIT via Airtran. Non-stop flight in Business Class. Flight was on time and uneventful. We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six the night prior to our cruise. It is a $15 taxi ride from FLL to the hotel. I got the hotel on Priceline. The night of our stay, there was an event at the hotel and the hotel was sold out. We were given room 2331 which is a second floor, marina view room right by the elevator. We thought the hotel was good enough for a one night stay, but if we needed to stay any longer we would prefer to stay closer to the beach. Taxi fare from hotel to port was approx $15 with tip.

The Oasis - First impression....WOW. It took 15 minutes from getting out of the taxi to stepping onto the Promenade. This ship is big, has lots of people, but not crowded at all. We have cruised on the Navigator so we were familiar with the Promenade. Once on board we went to Park Cafe for a Roast Beef sandwich. It seems like this location is no longer a secret and finding a place to sit was difficult. Very impressed with both Central Park and the Boardwalk.

Service - We had the best service of any cruise we have taken. From the staff in the terminal, to the wait staff, room attendants and Customer Service personnel everyone seemed to go out of their way to ensure we were having a great cruise.
