Arrived in New Orleans on Monday and did not sail until Saturday. Fell in love with New Orleans. This is definitely my new favourite port to sail from. Spending time there was amazing. So happy we decided to do that. Got to port about 11:25 and was on board eating lunch by 11:55. Easiest embarkation ever in over 20 cruises. FANTASTIC!!! Had oceanview Cabin on Main deck, M169 - odd layout but biggest cabin yet. Was worried I would miss a balcony as we always have balconies but I did not. This ship only has a few balcony cabins and they are suites. I quite smoking over 100 days before cruise so I think that made a difference with not having a balcony.

Progresso - many people did like this port but we did. Took the double decker 1/2 hour tour for 3 bucks. Looked around and ended up in a clean, bar and met lots of locals (well, people from canada and US that now live there). It is a very safe port!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Loved the double decker bus for 3 bucks. Ship excursion prices are high. Once off the ship and shuttled to town, you can get the same excursion or better than ship for less than half the money.

Cozumel: We had been to cozumel numerous times so we just shopped, walked, drank, had a great lunch, etc. Very tired of saying no thanks, no thanks, no thanks to vendors - I wish they would give it up!!!
