We felt we had the ship to ourselves

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on MSC Seaview

This was a last minute bargain - 5 days to get ready - but it was just fantastic. Despite the frustration of all the tests and forms to be completed we thoroughly enjoyed our time in the Caribbean. We were offered a really cut price rate complete with Premium drinks package, and couldn't believe our luck when it all worked out perfectly. The islands were beginning to open up and despite ship's ...

Horrendous Cruise

Initially cruise seemed to be a very good deal, 21nights from Barcelona but as soon as we landed at Barcelona the chaos commenced, MSC staff greeted us but there were no buses to transport us to the port, waited over a hour with no explanation offered. On arrival on MSC SEAVIEW we somehow managed to get our cruise pass without taking a mandatory covid test, once we pointed this out we were ...

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on MSC Seaview

My "big" cruise is going to take place in January 2022 and I was really in need for a break when this MSC offer came by. Travelling solo in a balcony cabin for the wonderful amount of € 1.000 was almost too good to be true. I liked the stops we made on our way through Northern Europe, it was a pity that due to weather circumstance we had to skip Warnemunde and arrived a day earlier in Kiel. The ...

Nice cruise but lots of things to improve

COVID It was our seventh cruise since the beginning of the pandemic, so we already know the new reality on cruise ships. This time I had the impression that there were too many people on board. Although the capacity is actually still limited to 70%, I did not notice that. The ship was full as before the pandemic. It is again necessary to book a seat in the theater a day before and in the evening ...

We will not travel MSC again

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on MSC Seaview

We did choose this cruise because of the opportunity to embark without needing to fly. Embarking protocols were very strict, which is very good. A covid test was done, you had to wait and when you were negative, you could embark. Since we are vaccinated twice, lack of social distancing when queing for checking in, did not bother us. Once on board, the teens we were travelling with went ...

Unethical practices and poor customer service

To Whom it May Concern: On July 3rd my family and I embarked on a MSC Seaview of the Baltic departing from Kiel, Germany. This was our second cruise with MSC. The critical aspects of the cruise to include much of the staff, condition of the boat, and ports of call were all positive. Nonetheless, I do not plan to sail with MSC again in the future due to the management-level interactions I ...

Awful experience

Review for a South America Cruise on MSC Seaview

Starting from the embarkation the experience was terrible. Complete caos, disorganized, very lazy and uncomfortable... get ready for at least 3 hours of waiting. Arriving at the ship we found all the infrastructure very nice, the house keeping was looking good and the positive impression was carried to inside the cabin... clean, organized and just as we asked. But the good thing stop ...

sorry for my English ! I’m from Brazil . the cabin was the best thing! it looked like a hotel room. the food at the buffet was better than at the social restaurant. everything is paid, there are no activities for 5000 people, the cleanliness of my room was horrible. I bought a wifi package on the last day they already canceled before the trip ended. It is my sixth cruiser (msc, costa, ...

My Fiancé got assaulted at knifepoint while on shore and MSC didn't care.

Told 4 crew about the ordeal including reception who told us "Management has been informed". But nobody ever came to see us or even check if we were ok. Sent an email to customer service department highlighting that this was totally appalling, but they didn't see it that way - "I’m sorry to hear that you felt a lack of support from staff on board. Unfortunately, after the local police have been ...

Well after 73 cruises I can finally say never again on MSC. My pros were : Embarkation in Barcelona and disembarkation in Barcelona Our wait staff in main dining room (I use the term dining room loosely) Our cabin steward was good. Ship was beautiful. Our cabin was ok too, although closet placement was a poor design. Cons: Generally unfriendly staff on board (language ...
