Undercooked meatballs from the Lido. This is unsafe, and the senior staff didn't bother to remove the tray from the buffet.

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Regal Princess

Choose this cruise because of the destinations. The destinations were nice. Would visit them again just not on this ship. We wanted to see change of leaves and enjoy the cooler weather. The ship was nice and friendly. Much older crowd than expected and some of them were rude at dinning time. Food became boring after a couple of days, desserts were not the best I have ever had. The grill by the ...

Boring Sea Days. Limited entertainments and activities on the cruise.

Entertainment and Activities: Boring Sea Days. Limited entertainments and activities on the cruise. Don't take this ship in Fall/Winter time, as the entire deck is dead and swimming pool and jacuzzi water too cold to use. Night shows are not interesting. The singers were mediocre. The comedian was not funny (we had to leave his 2nd show 10 minutes after the show started cuz his jokes were ...

More good than bad

We love this ship. But to be fair here are the FEW negative points we have found. Because this ship is about 80% balconies and 20% inside rooms, the rooms are somewhat tight. We could not pass each other between the bed and TV. Not the end of the world. Also the balconies are made for 2 people and no more. Again since this cruise at this time in the fall had mostly older couples it was no ...

Beautiful Ship but Waaayyy Too Crowded!

It's a beautiful ship but cannot adequately handle the enormous crowd of passengers. Elevators are almost always crowded and for those of us who are handicapped it is virtually impossible to get onto an elevator. Most of the time we wait patiently for the next car.....only to experience other passengers running up and jumping on ahead of us. My husband cannot walk well so uses a scooter to ...

Beautiful ship with a great dance instructor

We primarily cruise out of NJ or NYC as we dislike flying anywhere to get on a ship. The Princess Regal is one of the most beautiful ships we have ever sailed (We sailed on 37 cruises so far). The dance instructor on this ship was exceptional so we enjoyed a number of fun dance classes. One of the bands asked what we wanted them to play several times which was great for us as we love to ...

My sister recommended it to us as a perfect autumn cruise. The food and service was perfect. The weather could have cooperated a little more but who cared we were being pampered. The staff were genuinly happy to be there, and they showed it with every thing they did. We had a great time and will do it again. We cruised with our cousins and all had a great time doing and seeing. the excursions ...

Too geriatric

We chose this cruise because of the ports. Normally, we sail with Royal Caribbean but chose Princess for a change of venue. VERY disappointing. Food was institutional. Staff was robotic and generally non-energetic/not concerned with providing a high quality of experience. It felt like an old age home. Average age was in the late 70's. Even the casino was boring. FYI, ST John should not be a port. ...

Loved the Regal

We sailed the New England/Canada cruise out of Brooklyn during the week of hurricane Michael. With the exception of Newport and Bar Harbor, we had horrible weather, rainy, windy and temps in the upper 40's. This is where a covered pool area would have been so welcomed, as well as a true covered promenade deck. At least we could have gone outside a bit instead of spending the whole cruise ...

Super good time

This cruise was awesome, even though we sailed through the remnants of hurricane Michael. (More about that later) We flew into JFK, arriving at about 9am. Airline temporarily lost our luggage and we waited for what seemed to be forever for the Princess shuttle to the pier. The Princess transfer was absolutely terrible. Very small bus, not enough room for all the passengers, much less ...

Bucket List Cruise

Has always been on our bucket list to share this New England cruise to see the color changes with friends. The ports we visited were outstanding and we got to see a lot of fascinating sites. The beginning of the crew started in Quebec city and we had ample time to view the beauty of Canada before we set sail. Each day provided an outstanding view of the countryside and gave us opportunities to ...
