Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Carnival Sunshine

Embarkation was fairly fast and easy although the traffic at the port was a nightmare. Booked an accessible cabin (8304), which was NOT accessible to say the least. It was no larger than a standard inside cabin and with the beds together, you had to climb into the bed from the foot, no room to walk along side. Our shower leaked water into the cabin and soaked the carpet. Maintenance came and ...

All in all a great time

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Carnival Sunshine

Fun is the Fun Cruise Line. It's been many years since I've sailed on a Carnival Fun Ship. I've cruised a few times on other lines and established a family during the interim. This time I sailed with DW, 10 year old DD, and 1.5 year old DS. Carnival is the best ship for kids (I've never ridden on Disney which I hear is great, but pricey). This can be bad if you don't like to crazy of a ...

Went on this Carnival Canadian Cruise because we couldnt afford the Alaskan cruise lol!-Anyway had a great time-We cruised October 8-13; I went with my husband. 2 adult tickets including prepaid gratuities and port fees came to $1200 which Carnival allows you to make monthly payments on. The embarkation port was in Manhattan and the process was very smooth. When we got on the boat we were ...

We originally were supposed to sale on the Glory to Central America; however Hurricane Matthew scuttled our plans that had been in the works for 5 months. Instead, we chose a last minute sailing on Carnival Pride, a ship we adore, to the Bahamas and Grand Turk- a sailing that was also impacted by a hurricane. Choosing to abandon Pride's 7 night sailing to Halifax and St. John, we skipped over to ...

Hubby and I just came back from this Carnival cruise from NY to Halifax and St Johns bay Canada. We always wanted to go on an Alaskan cruise , but too pricey, so we did the next best thing--Canada! We had a great time--the interior state rooms small (of course) , but clean and comfy. We got a new towel animal every night on our bed, and the room stewards were awesome. Lots of different ...

I'd sail with Sunshine again

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Carnival Sunshine

I been on many cruises. This was the best to date. This is one ship I will be looking to sail with again. The crew works hard, and all are very friendly. There is many food choices for anytime you think you need to eat. Many of the crew you talk to remember you name. The drink waiters were not pushy, you are not bothered all day asking if you are thursty. I found that to be very nice, some ships ...

I was very happy to sail on the Sunshine, Carnival did a wonderful job. We lucked out this week while others were unsure of their sailing to the Caribbean, Bermuda was beautiful. We did have rain the first day but that was it all other days was clear sailing. Leaving out of NYC was good (I never experience a problem) we waited a bit for the ship to clear, and was boarding in no time. We went up ...

This was my third cruise, all with Carnival. The Sunshine is a beautiful ship, and very nicely remodeled. We did a 7 night cruise from NYC to Bermuda in October. Yes, risky weather, but all in all very good. Cabin - we had an inside cabin, deck 8 forward - best place ever to have a room. It was centrally located, and only one deck from coffee. NIcely appointed, and plenty of room for the two ...

We planned this trip almost a year and a half ago, and choose both Carnival and the Carnival Sunshine for my parents to renew their vows on the ship. Overall, Carnival went above and beyond for my parents the entire ceremony was amazing, even the staff loved it! This was our second Carnival cruise since our cruise on the Carnival Triumph in 2009 so it has been a while but the Carnival ...

This was my second Carnival cruise, but the first leaving from Manhattan. Living in NJ, it was very convenient. I opted for car service over the train and it worked well. The first time a I traveled solo and this time I traveled with a coworker/friend. We had the 1-1:30 embarkation window and arrived pretty much at 1pm. There were lines, but that was not unexpected. Embarkation went ...
