Overall we had an enjoyable Danube river cruise, from Passau to Budapest, with a 3 day pre cruise stop in Prague. Danube water levels were fine and we had no issues going through the locks. I have been on two other Viking river cruises over the last nine months so I had a pretty good understanding of what to expect. The service by the crew was excellent - it appears to be their trademark - all are well trained in excellent customer relations. The Castles and Legends Cruisetour was new this year, and I wanted to go from the first time that I read the itinerary. We very much enjoyed Munich and Salzburg before setting sail from Passau to Budapest. Transfers from airport to hotel to ship were seamless. Embarking and disembarking also went very well.

Just returned from a Viking River cruise from Passau to Budapest. Overall a wonderful trip. We were in a cabin on the main deck. Very nice cabin with plenty of hanging space and drawer/cabinet space. From being met at the airport in Amsterdam, to being delivered to the airport in Budapest, the Viking experience was first class.
