Embarkation and disembarkation went smoothly and I had one checked luggage. My interior cabin was just the right size and the steward was outstanding. I had the anytime dining option and barely had to wait in line for the Sapphire dining room. The food and staff was excellent. I wasn't impressed with Guy's burgers or the pizza joint. The sushi is worth paying extra for. Shore excursions booked through Carnival went well and I had a lot of fun. I enjoyed the Western Caribbean although not impressed with Costa Maya. The Motown show would have been better if there had been more entertainers of color. There was only one and he's outstanding. The cruise director, nicknamed "Donkey", is very good and very funny. Some ports were very crowded and I didn't spend much time in them, outside of the excursion. I highly recommend the BOSS excursion in Roatan! It's the next best thing to diving. The reef was beautiful. Read Less

Embarkation was smooth and we boarded the ship very quickly. We parked at the port that also added to the convenience. Our first meal was as at the Seaside BBQ. The BBQ was very good (chicken, pork and beef). The BBQ beans were not good. There were 4 in our group and we were all in agreement about the beans. My wife and Ihave been on over 12 cruises each. We have become complacent with the food. Over the past several years the main dining entrees have remained the same. Therefore, we do not eat in the main dining room every evening. We did eat the first elegant night and the service was great. The staff always called us by our name and we're very friendly. The food was good, but the lobsters are small and slightly over cooked which causes them to be tough/chewy. I had the Maui Maui and the sea bass on the trip and both were very good. We also had the flat iron steak and it was tough. Our favorite meal is having breakfast in the Plush dining room. The food is much better than the Lido breakfast. The eggs are cooked to order and the French toast is delicious. Manfredo provided great service at breakfast. I did eat breakfast a few times on Lido. I few times I got a lump of uncooked goo in my scrambled eggs. I enjoyed the musical entertainment on the ship. Travis played in the Red Frog Pub and was very good. We also listened to Patrick in the Piano Bar. He puts a lot of energy in his show. However, it is definitely 18+. Maybe 24+. Please do not take the kids, adults only. The Variety Violins playing in the Atrium were also very good for an alternative style of music. We did spend some time on the Lido deck around the main pool. It was very crowded and difficult to find a chair. Carnival does not prevent people from saving chairs early in the morning and not showing up until 10:00 or later. We also went to the Serenity deck and it was nice but still difficult to find an open seat. The four of us did the Turtle Cove excursion in St. Thomas. It was a good trip and we saw a lot of turtles. There were not a lot of fish. I guess the turtles ate the fish. The crew on the boat provided great service and very customer friendly. We also went to San Juan, Ambor Cove and Grand Turk. I was disappointed in Grand Turk. The pictures on the internet are much nicer. The beach was over crowed and a little trashy. I saw cups, beer bottle, broken glass and horse poop on the beach. The beer at Margeritaville is over priced. $32.99 + 18% gratuity and 11% tax. The waiter made sure we new the price before being seated. I di not think it was possible for ship beer to be cheaper, but it was. The shopping area was very clean, but don't expect any bargains. Debarkation on the final day was great. We do the self assist. We are Platinum and we met in the dining room at 6:30 and we were getting off the ship at 7:00 and I was in my car by 7:30. Overall, we had a great trip. Carnival provides a great experience for the price. Read Less

We chose this cruise because of the Ports of Call and it was leaving out of Port Canaveral. The dining room service the first night was horrible.. we asked to be moved the next night and it was some better. The ship itself wasn't as clean as I am used to seeing. The crew didn't seem as friendly or helpful. Bar staff was fair. Donkey the cruise director was AWESOME. The entertainment and games were good. Shore excursions were good. We always seemed to have problems finding something to drink in the Lido dining except for water. The machines were either broke or out. The food was good overall. The service in the Steakhouse was good. The casino (one of my favorite parts of a cruise) was EXTREMELY smoking and was very crowded. All the shops and open areas on deck 5 around and near the casino was very smoky. Embarkation was a breeze (No pun intended). I loved Puerto Rico and Grand Turk. Read Less

The itinerary is our main reason for booking this cruise. There were ports we wanted to see. The ship was clean, the crew was amazing, very helpful with all our needs and was very informative. We did the Behind the Scenes tour and it was an amazing experience getting to see everything that goes on behind all of our fun. Meeting the captain was a plus! He was a very kind gentlemen and was very informative with all our questions. Our stateroom was clean and cozy and our steward was EXCELLENT! The only one thing I will say negative is I think the ship needs crew to remind people to sanitize their hands in the lido. They do have sanitizing stations but a lot of people did not use them. I know on other cruise lines staff will greet you into dining and remind you to sanitize. That is the only negative thing I can find. Our cruise director Donkey was great and kept the ship with lots of fun things to do. Will certainly go on the Breeze again! Read Less

We went on this cruise to celebrate a few events (our 10th anniversary, Mom's 60th birthday, Dad's birthday, and my wife's 50th birthday). We had a great time and would definitely go again. My wife and I went to Ron Jon Surf Shop the night before departure. I would suggest anyone go here. We stayed at the Hampton Inn Cocoa Beach, and we also parked here. The shuttle to the port was easy and very timely. Embarkation was quick and easy. We got to the port. Got in line for like 2 minutes. Moved through the various checkpoints, and we were on the ship within 10 minutes from arrival. Disembarkation was somewhat slow, but this was due to federal employee issues. The ship is nice. All areas were kept very clean. My only complaint is there was no pool on the serenity deck. Out cabin, Ocean Suite 7274, was nice and roomy. My wife loved the balcony and the jacuzzi tub. The color scheme in the room was not to my liking, but oh well. Our dining room experience was pleasant. Our server was Mantara, and he did a wonderful job. We loved the shows. Very awesome. The Cruise Director was Chris "Donkey" Salazar. He is a fun guy. He made the cruise very enjoyable. We didn't care much for Amber Cove, but the rest of the ports were very enjoyable. We went on a whale watching excursion in Grand Turk. We saw whales and had a blast. I would suggest this to anyone. Read Less

We have cruised the Breeze 3 times before; Mediterranean, TransAtlantic and Carribean. One of our top 5 ships. My top tip, study the ship to get around easily and join the programs and activities suited to yourself. We're hitting about 50 cruises on many different cruise lines. It really helps us. Some ships have a scavenger hunt first day which you get a stamp at each location on the ship and you are entered for a prize. You win because your vacation will so much better knowing the ship. My point, go find all the places you know you want to go but cover some more. The Breeze had talented singers and dancers are well rehearsed and put on some great shows in Theater and common areas. The Local Flavor Excursion in Dominican Republic covered a lot of ground in 5+ hours and well worth the $60. We had slow service the last evening in Dining Room -- we did not pay attention to our time that day. (We know better.) Go early or go late, but avoid rush hour on any ship. At the moment, we have plans at the moment for other Carnival ships and Princess ships. If the Breeze's itinerary and times fit our schecule in the future. We would enjoy the Breeze's Cloud 9 Spa again. Read Less

We chose this cruise for itinerary, home port, and date. Arrived at port at 11:00 and walked right on ship. Others in our group that were not platinum were on only minutes later. I thought the service was great and cheerful all around. We had a cabin facing front on deck 10 and really liked it. My brother had a cove balcony and loved being close to the water especially one night when the waves were about 15 feet according to the captain. We chose early dining and were in the upper level of the middle restaurant (Sapphire). The lower level was for Your Time Dining and we usually had no wait for doors to open at 6:00. Several times we arrived a few minutes early and several people were already seated. The service was the best we had in years. The dining staff actually even had time to interact with us! Read Less

Chose because it was a gambling cruise. Cabin was filthy I took pictures of the layer of dust above the vanity mirror. Long lines for dining room for breakfast. Also with anytime dining very long dinner lines 15 minutes after the doors opened. Food was nothing to write home about. Nothing outstanding or exceptional. A couple of nights we didn’t eat the food. We had rain the week of Jan 12th and more should have been done since the ports were rained out. Social director Donkey is great and hands on. All the shows were their own singers and dancers. Would have liked if they had some outside entertainment. The adult comedy is held in a small lounge so get there an hour early if you want a seat. The piano bar is fun but it also gets tiring going there every night. Getting on and off was easy as I am platinum. Bar service in the casino was non existent. Overall very disappointed!!!! Read Less

I selected this cruise because I was interested in visiting the ports that it was stopping at. The food was just okay. I was so looking forward to some very delicious food and found that overall in the dining room and the buffet fell short of my expectations. Would recommend Guy’s Burger place, the Blue Iguana and the Pizza Place was also alright. The few desserts on the ship that were good was the melting chocolate cake and the creame brûlée available in the dining room and the ice cream available at numerous spots on the ship. Every other dessert that we tried was not worth eating... apparently we weren’t the only people that felt this way as there were less than half eaten desserts left everywhere. We also purchased a few desserts from the coffee shop and they were also very disappointing (strawberry cheesecake and the black cake). Some of the entertainment was good (Piano Bar - Patrick Duffy, all the entertainment on the stage near the coffee shop, jazz trio and violin players). Also enjoyed the game shows in the Ovation Theatre. The Motown and Country Roads shows in the Ovation Theatre were terrible. Was really looking forward to some talented Motown entertainment... what a disappointment. Assuming that the Rock n Roll night would be the same cast we didn’t want to put ourselves through that again! The Carnival staff looking after the Staterooms and and working throughout the ship were top notch. Such hard working, friendly and obliging people. They made each and every day special, what a blessing they are. Embarking and disembarking went quite well. I believe that the system that Carnival has in place is effective however there seems to be a certain set of folks that resist following instructions in spite of the very clear communication. I understand that It is difficult for Carnival as they are trying to balance maintaining a process without offending patrons for fear that they won’t return for a future cruises but I think they should simply send people back who attempt disembarkment before they’re floor is called. Overall, I think I would try a different cruise line next time but won’t say that I wouldn’t travel with Carnival again. Read Less

this was a group cruise with 40 of my dance friends. The bands that they had on board and the music that was played was very good as me and my friends love to line dance. Breakfast buffet was awesome. The dining room was very well decorated and the staff were totally great. But some of the food was not so good my prime rib and my filet mignon we're not cooked correctly as well as the undercooked salmon. the locations that we stopped at we're really good I had a great time at each one of those. my room Stewart was the best very friendly and very accommodating. The spa area did a great job on my manicure. The cruise director was fantastic. And I really liked the comedians they had in the punchline room especially Tim Young. Overall I would say I had a really good time on the Carnival breeze. Read Less
