We chose this itinerary because it fit within the kids' school vacation so it wasn't necessarily chosen due to the itinerary. We don't generally enjoy stopping in Nassau so we treated it as an "at sea" day and stayed on the ship. Unfortunately with Nassau, a LOT of people do this so the ship is still pretty crowded if its a full sailing.

Sailed in December with my two 16 year old sons. We were in Concierge Class. This gave us several benefits. Personally escorted onboard to Concierge Lounge and skipped all embarkation lines. We did have to wait a while for bus from Orlando Airport to the dock, but once at the ship we flew onboard. Concierge Lounge is very nice and always had nice snacks available. This was our first cruise and had heard amazing things about Disney. It didn’t disappoint as far as being surround by all things Disney related. We knew to expect tight space in the cabin (5184 - Verandah Room) so while yes it’s crowded the room met all our expectations and we did enjoy having the balcony to sit out on at times.

We went on our first Disney cruise with out 18 month old just a week before Christmas (2018). We reached a day before and stayed in a hotel near the Canaveral port (about and hour from Orlando airport) . Word of advise: get an uber as they charge per person including a toddler under 2 for the shuttle so uber works out better with lesser wait time.

It was a military family event,grands never been on a cruise. I wasn't gung ho on being on a Disney Cruise, I am well over that. Everything about our cruise went exceedingly well. I went with two granddaughters. Getting through the pre-boarding process was fast and easy. Wait staff was always great and food was really good.
