"I chose Disney again for my cruise. This was our third time cruising and it was a mother-daughter cruise. My daughter is 9. The Disney Dream is a large ship with tons of amenities. Here are the Postiives: (1)..."Read More

We chose this itinerary because it fit within the kids' school vacation so it wasn't necessarily chosen due to the itinerary. We don't generally enjoy stopping in Nassau so we treated it as an "at sea" day and stayed on the ship. Unfortunately with Nassau, a LOT of people do this so the ship is still pretty crowded if its a full sailing. Our server team was one of the best teams we have had ...

This was our 3rd Disney Cruise. We love the family-oriented mindset of Disney and choose these cruises because we want a safe experience for our family. On this Merrytime Christmas Cruise we were onboard for the entire week of Christmas and it was a really fun time for all of us. Many of our expectations we met or exceeded and as always, the crew and service were exceptional. There were a few ...

Sailed in December with my two 16 year old sons. We were in Concierge Class. This gave us several benefits. Personally escorted onboard to Concierge Lounge and skipped all embarkation lines. We did have to wait a while for bus from Orlando Airport to the dock, but once at the ship we flew onboard. Concierge Lounge is very nice and always had nice snacks available. Concierge class also seemed ...

First Time Cruiser

This was our first cruise and had heard amazing things about Disney. It didn’t disappoint as far as being surround by all things Disney related. We knew to expect tight space in the cabin (5184 - Verandah Room) so while yes it’s crowded the room met all our expectations and we did enjoy having the balcony to sit out on at times. The Positive: The shows very amazing and being able to see ...

We are a Disney family through and through. DVC members, annual pass holders, and we do the parks at least once a year. We finally tried the cruise and it did not disappoint. On the plane home, I started reading a bunch of reviews and was surprised at all the negative ones. I really think some of the negative reviews are coming from people who are used to other cruise lines and don't do ...

We went on our first Disney cruise with out 18 month old just a week before Christmas (2018). We reached a day before and stayed in a hotel near the Canaveral port (about and hour from Orlando airport) . Word of advise: get an uber as they charge per person including a toddler under 2 for the shuttle so uber works out better with lesser wait time. Also you would have to get an uber with child ...

Disney Vacation Club Member Cruise. This was my son's first cruise and my first "traditional" cruise since the one prior was on the Celebrity Xpedition to the Galapagos. It was just the two of us on a mom-son bonding trip. DAY 1: Embarkation went smoothly, but lines were extremely long to get thru the scanners and into cruise terminal (arrived at 1015a for 1030a Port Arrival Time, got to ...

This was my 17th Disney Cruise. I have also been on The Oasis of the Sea (RCL) and the Oosterdam (HAL). This is my 3rd Christmas Cruise on the Dream. The Dream is a nice ship. A lot of neat things for kids to do. The Christmas activities were nice and the decorations were neat to see. The food was good and so was the service for the most part. I would say it is not any better the the ...

It was a military family event, grands never been on a cruise. I wasn't gung ho on being on a Disney Cruise, I am well over that. For the kids though and for you Disney freaks , I must say it was worth what we paid. It's like the Magic Kingdom on steroids without the rides and on the water. Plenty of activities and characters all over the place. Kids entertainment area was awesome, something only ...

Everything about our cruise went exceedingly well. I went with two granddaughters. Getting through the pre-boarding process was fast and easy. Wait staff was always great and food was really good. Added $ to the gratuity of the main waiter who held onto and returned gloves that were part of the 8 year old's pirate costume. Loved our stateroom and host. Added $ to his gratuity because he was so ...
