When you go ashore be careful that the price on the shelf and what you pay are the same because even though you might be next to the ship the people will try to charge you more. The walk down central park at night with the cool breezes and lighting with musicians preforming was a pleasure. I would have enjoyed more ice cream machines scattered around the ship. This was maybe the third time I ...
Dissappointing would be the sentiment that comes to mind when I think of this particular cruise.
Consistently long food lines for dining of over an hour with "on my time dining" (what a misnomer!), slow service once seated largely due to too many tasks assigned to the waitress/waiter (they no longer have servers for drinks like Disney), and the food isn't quite what I expected. We are perhaps ...
This is our second cruise with Royal Caribbean (first one was Eastern Caribbean on the Oasis of the Seas). The ship is huge, with great on-board entertainment and shows. There are many food options, and the food is excellent overall. The staff is uniformly friendly and helpful, despite the fact that they work 7 days a week for months on end; you would never know that they don't have days off! ...
Entertainment was excellent. Food was good most of the time. Cabin steward "so-so". If you don't take excursions, you don't get to see the "real" places. Royal Carribbean has purchased real estate in these ports and built open malls for you to shop and dine in. Nice but kind of Epcot style. We didn't get a copy of our final bill and looking at my charge card, it looks as though we might have ...
This cruise was chosen by my elderly mother because she has been loyal to Royal Caribbean.
Unfortunately, although the ship was beautiful, it was extremely overcrowded. We were not able to see the shows because all were sold out before the first day. It was difficult to get food in the Windjammer because of the overcrowding. No where to sit if you do get food. The food was pretty good, ...
Our cruise was incredible! The ship is so clean, the crew is super friendly, the food tastes amazing and there is sooooooooooooooooooooooooo much to do on board. We loved every minute - seriously, it was phenomenal. We are a family of 4 with a teenager (15) and a little guy (9). Our teenager loved the basketball court, flowriders and just running around all over the ship with his friends. Our ...
Food, accommodations, and entertainment were great! The dinner food was incredible, definitely top notch! Windjammer breakfast buffet options were also really good! The Blue Planet and Aqua theater shows were awesome. But Mama Mia was a sleeper, and the Ice Games was just an unimpressive ice skating show.
We really enjoyed the spa's heat therapy special and mud bath, but did not appreciate ...
The ship was my main reason to choose this cruise. I wanted a big ship with lots of entertainment options and Royal has also very good food and service. The ports were also good but the best was Cozumel by far! Amazing place and the tour was just beyond magical, we chose the starfish sanctuary and palancar reef. Highly recommended. I enjoyed everything about the cruise, the people working on the ...
There were 4 of us (two couples) traveling for a friends 40th birthday. We booked the trip because my friend wanted to go on this ship because of the number of things to do on the ship. Not that it matters but as two gay couples on the cruise - we found all the staff and crew very nice and welcoming, as well as all of the guests we met at the pool and in the dining areas and bars.
We left ...
The entertainment was very good, the ship staff were very good. I felt like I was at a forced sale with all the pushing of very expensive internet/phone service (about 100.00 for one week, per device) diamonds, (in cahoots with Diamonds International and shore hawkers.) These things sum up the entire attitude of the cruise for RC's perspective, from my point of view. They had over 6000 captive to ...
