Good Activities for Young Children

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Magic

We traveled with my grandson and his family (boys 6 & 11) their first cruise. They enjoyed all the water activities and the sports area. For myself I found the the food mediocre. Guys Burgers and Pig and Anchor were good. They enjoyed the Dr Seuss breakfast. This was our 10th cruise, we usually cruise on Royal Caribbean but this looked like the best for the boys. There were never many in the ...

First Time Cruise; would not go Carnival Cruise line again

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Magic

We went as a family of 6. I had a fall during the night, I have a disability and I called the emergency number and told the person I fell and had a laceration under my eye and my knees were injured. I was told "you know you could have just called room service for ice packs". There was never a follow up to the call. My Mother, sister-in-law, her friend and I ordered the spa package. The ...

Cruisers: Mom, 44, Daughter, 20 Cruise History - 5 on Disney, 2 Princess, 1 NCL, 1 Carnival (12 years ago) Cruiser types: Relaxation! De-stressing, Non-Smokers,Balcony cabin a must, beach goers, not hard partiers or drinkers, but my 20 yr old is very social. We enjoy the dining room most of time time, but other times happy with Lido buffet if we are tired. Main reasons we won't be back: ...

Just An Average Cruise Experience

We chose this cruise because it included 3 ports that we had never visited before. This was our fourth cruise (3rd with Carnival). We were really looking forward to it, but came away somewhat disappointed. The ship was okay, but didn't have any outstanding features. The food at the Lido buffet was mediocre at best. We've had much better on other ships. Cooked items were often just warm to ...

This is my 5th Carnival Cruise and the 3rd time on this itinerary-1st time on the Magic. I have previously been on the Sunshine, Breeze, Dream and Valor all for week long cruises. Not only would I recommend this cruise and ship, I plan on taking another and am already planning! Over the last five years that I have been cruising I have seen an improvement with my Carnival experience. The food ...

This was our 2nd cruise, so we don't have much to compare to. However, we had a FANTASTIC time. Embarkation was amazingly smooth this time. We did not have to wait in any kind of lines. Once checked in, we only had to wait for 20 min to actually board the ship. We were on the ship by 12:45! Went straight for the lobby bar for a cocktail, then headed out to explore the ship (first time on ...

We have been on two other cruise lines, and there certainly better options out there. The food was sub par at best. The best options where for breakfast. Problem with that was at one time or another there was no coffee. We felt that the ship was either very understaffed or workers didn't care. Who isn't making sure there is plenty of coffee in the morning. Housekeeping was the bright spot. ...

We sailed in November, 2016 out of Port Canaveral. We parked at the port in the parking garage, $144 for an 8 day cruise. It is more than parking offisite, but just a few steps from the terminal. We arrived at the port about 11:30AM and were onboard by noon. Great folks processing us. We were in a spa interior cabin, a great deal since we were able to use the special steam rooms on deck ...
