We liked the ports and have cruised with Princess before. The food was mediocre but dining room service excellent. The ship is beautiful. We had a mini suite on Riviera which was roomy but balcony way too small. The entertainment was hit or miss but mostly miss except for singer and comedian at beginning of cruise. Their show Encore had its debut and that was really good. The ports and excursions ...
My husband and I (66 & 65) had not had a vacation this year. I love Princess, so I booked this cruise before I knew any of my/our teams would be in the playoffs. As a result, we missed all the games because they did NOT have all the normal TV channels. That being said.
We left the day of the cruise on a direct flight to FLL. Everything went just great. We picked up our luggage and ...
Embarkation easy and quick as well as disembarkation. We had a balcony cabin and it was sufficient but the balcony was small. The people next to us hung a clothes line on the balcony and wash was constantly on display. Princess had never allowed this before and it was awful to see underwear flapping in the breeze. We had anytime dining and it worked well for us. We dislike formal nights and ...
The process going on and off were shockingly simple and Port Everglades is a very sunny pretty place to begin and end. The ship was gorgeous and even with thousands of people aboard only very rarely felt full. My cabin was nice, well, appointed, and expertly taken care of by the room steward.
I very much enjoyed the food, especially all the chocolate desserts.
The events and activities ...
The Ship is beautiful. The food was pretty good, and the dining staff were prompt and friendly. Our cabin steward was HORRIBLE. This was my 16th cruise and I've never experienced such an unfriendly, down right rude cabin attendant. Our friends down the hall had a different guy, and were pleased with him, so hopefully this was a fluke. Embarkation, and debarkation was a breeze. The Dancers/singers ...
I loved this ships staff. They were absolutely amazing and so much fun. Entertainment was good most days. The ship is very nice. Cabin was great. The food however, very disappointing. Lets say I lost 12 pounds on this cruise, which I have read is unheard of. The food was luke warm, not very good options in the dining rooms, and the buffet was 10 days of pretty much repeat. Many I spoke ...
ROYAL PRINCESS - Nov 30 –> Dec 10, 2017
Wednesday, Nov 29 - Travel day
Well, here I am in beautiful downtown LAX at gate 25. It is 4:30am and boarding begins in twenty minutes. I was woken up at about 2:15am by a ringing sound. After a few seconds I identified the source of the noise. It was my alarm clock.
I was showered and dressed and ready when the limo driver arrived around ...
We selected the cruise due to a Costco promotion that popped up, when I was browsing the Costco website.
It fit our timing and budget. The ship looked magnificent and huge.
I found the cabin , which is a pretty standard, spacious , balcony was a definite plus. (Later on I would that more than 80% of the cabins had a balcony, so it is definitely a huge advantage.
The food was tasty, buffet ...
I choose this cruise because it was less expensive and included more days/ports in an area we hadn't been to than another cruise I had booked that I cancelled. We hadn't been to the Southern Caribbean so it was interesting to see those countries.
We enjoyed most aspects of the cruise. However, the food was a big let down. There were very few dinners that I enjoyed entirely. One meal the steak ...
Living in the Midwest, we decided to break up our winter months with a pre-holiday cruise. The Royal Princess does not disappoint.Disembarking and embarkation went smoothly. The ship easy easy to navigate, plenty of food places to eat and drink, friendly staff and wonderful itinerary. We had a club class cabin that had plenty of space and storage. Room steward was up there with the best we've ...
