THIS WAS THE ABSOLUTE WORST CRUISE!
Ok, so I’m not one to write a terrible review even if it was a bad experience, I try to look at all the obstacles that said company may have faced and take that in to consideration. So when I wrote this review believe me it was awful.
Let’s start with the service. The Cruise director wasn’t interactive at all. The vibe of the ship was just poor. We were ...
Second time Carnival cruiser, and this just might be the last cruise we have with them. Where to even start…there were so many rowdy, loud and disrespectful guests on this ship. Screaming, fighting, making a huge mess everywhere. Kids were left unattended to run rampant with no parents in sight. Totally out of control. They just left trash and food everywhere, kids stood at the ice cream stations ...
My husband and I had booked this cruise last year but due to the boat catching fire, it was canceled and refunded and a free cruise was given to use before May of 2023. We chose to do the freedom. This is our first carnival cruise but not our first cruise. The staff was friendly for the most part but not exceptionally friendly and we did tip in addition to pre paid gratuities. Our room steward, ...
My wife and I took this cruise to get away for a few days, and in anticipation of her retirement in a couple months. We are experienced cruisers, with over 30 trips in the last 30 years. The cruise was a combination of some good and some average and some really really bad. We've never been on a ship with so many rude, inconsiderate, and LOUD people. It was almost impossible to find anyplace on ...
We have taken several Carnival cruises before. So, after the pandemic subsided somewhat, we decided to try another. What a letdown. Maybe my fault for poor planning of the time of year, but the place was overrun with out-of-control kids. The lido deck was constant chaos. The drink prices have risen dramatically, and the short staffing really affects the service. Couldn't try the Mongolian Wok ...
We booked this cruise for our 20th anniversary. We originally had an Ocean View cabin reserved, but a couple months before embarkation, decided to get a Balcony on Lido instead. The process to change rooms was easy, but required a phone call.
The cabin was fresh and clean, if not a touch dated. There were a few patches of rust visible out on the balcony, understandable for a 16 year old ...
The discrepancies in pricing are appalling. I'm a senior with a handicap....I was knocked into another guest table by an adolescent running through & playing in the dining area. The room was extremely nasty and dirty the bed sheets and the spread was soiled. Piror guest hair in the bathroom shower, sink and flooring. Toilet was nasty with bowel stains. The nightstand lamp didn't work. Numerous of ...
This was the first cruise I've ever taken. There was a lot of swaying on this sailing, but I heard there was a small casino ship that wasn't able to sail due to the choppy waters. If I stood for a couple of hours, my back would begin to hurt & would just need to sit or lay down. I asked experience cruisers, and they said that amount of swaying wasn't normal. Before my cruise, I read about some ...
We have cruised several times, both Carnival and Royal.....this cruise was selected based on the date of sailing, the cost and the ports. Overall we enjoyed the Carnival Freedom and would cruise on this ship again. The décor is a little outdated ( browns and oranges) but the service, overall ambiance and cleanliness met / exceeded out expectations. We had a port side balcony room- the room was a ...
My friends chose this cruise due to the price and the ports of call. The price was amazing for the trip that we had. There were four of us that traveled together, we are all in our 30's. We had fun from the time we boarded the ship until the time the cruise ended. I dealt with terrible motion sickness (this was my first cruise in 16 years) and forgot how seasick I get. (I overheard someone say ...
