We booked this cruise about 8 weeks before sailing to get away from the rainy Pacific Northwest and once again Princess delivered a great holiday. We got lucky and did not have to deal with fog or high winds in the Houston port area so our embarkation and disembarkation went like clockwork.
Princess gets high grades for overall service from the friendly crew, excellent dining, and superb ...
We can't say enough good things about this cruise on the Caribbean Princess! All of the crew were genuinely happy to help if we had questions (where to find Coral Dining Room, for example).
Embarkation was a breeze, compared to other cruise lines we've sailed with in the past. We had an assigned time to check in at the terminal, and once checked in we received a group number - when that ...
This was our first time sailing with Princess and I wasn't impressed with the overall cruise. I've been on eight different ships and Princess was our fourth cruise line to sail with. For me its not about the cruise line but the overall ship experience as each ship is a bit different in design and what they have to offer.
Embarkation was a breeze. We live in Houston and paid to park in the ...
We chose this cruise, because there were ports we had not visited.
The captain spoke only broken English and it was impossible to understand him. He also seemed like he did not want to meet the passengers, and tried to remain aloof during functions. Poor representative for Princess.
We were stalked by employee during the cruise. We felt very uncomfortable and it ruined the trip for ...
We have previously been on Norwegian (3 times) and were looking to try another cruise line. The Caribbean Princess sailing out of Houston seemed to fit out schedule and price range well, so we signed on.
Our first concern was the transfers from IAH airport - we didn't have a time or anything to meet, so we just showed up at 9:30 (we flew in the day before and stayed at an airport hotel with ...
We are sophisticated, educated world travelers, accustomed to 5 star accommodations, yet keep coming back to Princess because of its overall excellence, traditions and summer camp spirit, comfort, excursion choices, good food and wine. What a VALUE ! Truly a bargain. This was our 7 th Princess cruise. Sailed once on Celebrity and were disappointed. And are put off by upscale, pretentious, ...
just got off CB. It is excellent value for a cruise and it is a shame it is not going to be based in Houston after April. Activities were numerous-at times you could not do everything you wanted. Service was excellent-a throwback to days before now when more cabins per worker and more tables mean a decrease in service.
We did Cozumel, which has a nice new shopping pier there, Roatan, and ...
We've cruised Princess before and had an excellent experience. Overall, this cruise wasn't a negative experience, it was just ok. The ship has plenty of bars, restaurants, pools, etc. but it is PACKED with people.
In the evening the theater had more people than seats. Elevator wait time was significant and often the elevators exceeded capacity. The buffet felt like a cattle shoot. After ...
We have sailed on the Caribbean Princess before. So when our TA showed us the price for this cruise we jumped on the deal.Had not sailed from Houston before so it was a new experience. The port is known as an iffy place to leave from this time of year. Winds and fog are the big problem. So that could be why the price was so low.
We are both retired. I am 70 and wife is 63. This was our 15th ...
We've taken a few Caribbean cruises, and so were familiar with most of the destinations, but, ever since seeing the movie "Romancing The Stone" I've wanted to visit Cartagena, Columbia. The cruise line - Princess, because it's our favourite/most-used line, and this trip because of Cartagena.
The ship and cruise were as good as always - good food/entertainment/service, but this trip was all ...
