Service nearly everywhere was very good to outstanding. The waiters we had in the MDR worked very well to get our table of 4 were very well taken care of and consistently out in about an hour and 15 minutes. The head waiter visited our table usually 2-3 times every night. This has NEVER happened before on any ship on any cruise line. We were lucky to see a head waiter 2-3 times the entire ...
We have been on 23 cruises, most with Royal Caribbean. This ship was not clean, food was terrible, up charge for lobster and filet mignon in the main dining room is ridiculous, nobody was at pasta station to serve in Windjammer, muster crew unaware how to direct passengers to proper location, price of drinks being $14 is too high, casino had mostly all progressive slots, bite size desserts are ...
It was around hurricane Idalia and we were supposed to leave out of Tampa.
The city closed down and the coast guard couldn't clear the ship to dock on time to pick us up on the day of.
Boarding was delayed a day and the cruise was shortened by a day which means that we didn't have time to make it to our destination to Cozumel Mexico. I was one of the few disappointed people because I am not ...
I’ve been on 9 cruises and this was by FAR, and I mean by far the worst. I don’t even know where to begin. The ship is extremely out dated and small. Crowds everywhere since there was nothing to do. The itinerary and daily schedule was literally all fluff. Nothing standing out, no real shows, no comedy’s, no adult activities. Casino was half broken and so small you couldn’t walk around. Just ...
Background: We had not sailed on Royal Caribbean since before the Covid shutdown (2019) and still had a NextCruise from a cancelled Majesty OTS sailing in 2021. So after a pause in sailing with RCCL, we booked this quick cruise from our homeport here in FL.
We arrived at the pier at our prescribed boarding time and were checked in without any problem but with no recognition of being Crown & ...
First let me say the positive; the food everywhere on board was great. Staff was very pleasant, but obviously overworked.
Common areas on the ship were dirty and the bathrooms were a disaster. Toilet paper all over the floor, dirty sinks & toilets. You should know before you booked that room stewards only clean your room once a day....which would be OK except give us more than one set of ...
I booked this cruise with my 23 year old daughter for a mother/daughter trip. We booked Serenade due to the itinerary meeting our needs. We previously sailed RC as a family on the Oasis and Freedom. We loved both of the previous cruises. I was a bit hesitant booking such a small ship but figured it was only 5 days and would be great regardless of size.
Embarkation was wonderful. We were on the ...
The staff on this ship was amazing. The food was excellent! 10/10 would recommend. We had two dinning room attendants that were excellent. The menu had a wide variety of classics and new things to try. The entertainment onboard was catered to people of all ages and interests. We enjoyed the wonderful dancer and singers who performed in the tropical theater. Particular the screen to stage ...
Serenade's food was overall very food. There's just nothing to do on the ship. This should be 3-4 night ship max.
Kid Area: is almost a waste. It's a little bit bigger than a plastic pool in the backyard.
Main Pool: it's kept so deep you better know how to swim or put a jacket on to save yourself.
Dining room: I felt still has a classy look to it we like.
Room: balcony room.

We were in room (Grand Suite) sailing out of Tampa to CocoCay and Nassau. We sailed in a Grand Suite on Freedom of the Seas out of Miami in Feb. this year and found the two experiences to be vastly different. Some info that's not really pro or con but just to keep in mind: The Serenade ship is smaller and therefore feels much more crowded. We could hear the music from the Centrum and pool deck in ...
