Well, we had our second cruise on Coral Princess and our third. (don't worry the 2 cruises totalled 5 nights) We were hoping to see some improvements to our last trip in August. However, it was ground hog day. Still couldn't book a specialty restaurant as they were booked out way in advance. On the August cruise the pools were heated to a nice temperature but on this one they were freezing. ...

Far better then expected!

Being my first cruise post covid lock down, and our very first princess cruise, I had very high expectations. I have only previously sailed with Royal Caribbean and found the 12 night Queensland cruise and its ports on offer from princess very appealing. Once we boarded the Coral princess the high standards of its crew started to show. The crew were always very happy to see and greet you as ...

Too short but glad to be back

Booked this cruise months ago when the booking re opened here in Australia. Wish I had booked something longer as just settled in and then off again. 3 Nights way too short. The embarkation process was a breeze, much easier and faster than ever before. The crew were so welcoming and glass to be back. The ship was immaculately clean and empty. Only about 70% booked so easy to get a seat by ...

First time Princess - not disappointed

Our first cruise post - covid, and with a new cruise line for us. We really didn't pick Princess, it picked us, at it fit within our travel plans to QLD. That said we were very excited to try Princess, and we have a couple of Elite Princess friends. Starting at the beginning, the embarkation process was a breeze at Brisbane (the trip to the terminal though is less inspiring). The only thing to ...

A great cruise on a great ship

We originally booked this cruise to have a break from work as my husband and I are self-employed. You can't help but relax on this beautiful ship. However, my head agency (I'm a travel agent), made this cruise our conference cruise. So this worked in really well for me. The crew on the ship are so happy to be back. They were so welcoming and nothing was a problem. They would all say "Hello" as ...

Not the princess I know

This was our first cruise back with Princess since Covid. We have sailed many times with them before. Firstly let me say that the crew were great and boarding and disembarkation were a dream. (as usual) Our room was a balcony and was very comfortable although, as usual no sofa. The shower was tiny and allowed for no movement. Formalities to do with safety were quick and easy. Whilst we had ...

Princess took money from my visa without authority.

The cruise was ok, but not a lot of activities for a 50-year-old. I had 100%prepaid for the cruise in May. They take your visa onboarding the ship and take out a $100.00 deposit. On the cruise, I saw the spending being deducted and I could see all the transactions being deducted from my account. The day after I returned home Princess deducted a further $650.00 from my account. I ...

Don't expect a good internet connection

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Coral Princess

This could have been a great cruise if the internet connection was working as advertised. The connection was supposed to be able to stream movies and video but could barely load a webpage for most of the trip. The technical support wanted to help but admitted the connection quality was terrible and there was nothing that could be done. Though some may think an enforced break from the internet ...

VERY OLD SHIP

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Coral Princess

This ship can only be weeks away from being scrapped. The public areas are fine but the cabins and public toilets are out of the ark. Flaking grout everywhere you looked. A BIG gripe was the horrible cheap toilet paper and tissues. There are no air dryers that we found anywhere. Of the 7 main meals we had in one of the main dining rooms, 5 were bland & tasteless but 2 were good.Nicely ...

Princess Dethroned!!

Greatly disappointed compared to previous cruises. Their app is not easy to use, system crashed several times, very slow and confusing. When calling customer service for assistance before the cruise, they seemed confused and not able to clarify pre-boarding tests. During check-in the staff didn't even check out our covid test results! Several nights we were first in line for dinner and requested a ...
