Horrible food, room felt like a jail

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Conquest

Only two plug ins when we have four people in the room, they did provide an extension cord. Food was AWFUL! Lots of hidden/extra fees and complicated debarkation process. Hard to find things on the boat. Gratuity is included automatically in a lot of things such as the spa and for the room. Horrible tv channels as well, but we could see the boat camera on the tv which was pretty cool! I will ...

TLDR; While we had multiple small issues with our vacation, we still ended up having a good time. The staff and food were amazing, the physical problems with our room and app were the major turn offs. Would we sail Carnival again? Likely no unless it was a family/friend group trip. This was my first Carnival cruise since I was 16 (I'm 45 now) and I always had fond memories of those boats and ...

As far as the cruise itself, this was par for the course for Carnival. I am Platinum with Carnival and while most cruises are fun regardless, I am disappointed in the direction Carnival is going. We started out this cruise with our steward notifying us that we could no longer choose our preferred cleaning time...this was not a big deal, but a shock to me. I then dealt with problem after problem ...

After many years since my last cruise, my new husband and I decided it was time for him to experience his first cruise. We chose the Conquest because the itinerary fit our schedule. We also chose the conquest for it's size, and the deal we got on this sailing. We were booked for an Ocean Suite, but the upgrade fairy put us in a Grand Suite. We took advantage of the perks that come with a ...

Sooo I really wanted to go on an RCL cruise, but my mother picked Carnival for our mini Mother/Daughter getaway. Both had an identical itinerary option for a short weekend trip to Nassau but Carnival was a lot cheaper. I really wish we would have shelled out the extra $100 per person for RCL. (Our suite on Carnival was $100 less than a standard balcony would have been on RCL) >>>> I'll start ...

Cruise review for Carnival Conquest, 4-day cruise round-trip from Miami (December 12-16, 2022) Inside Stateroom #8214. ------------------------- PROS: ------------------------- Our stateroom attendant (Supa) was friendly and kept our stateroom nice and clean. Our stateroom had good shower water pressure and temperature controls. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. ...

I recently got off the Carnival Sunrise is September, I enjoyed that cruise so much, that when I returned home, I immediately booked another Carnival Cruise. I found this 4 day cruise on the Conquest that fitted in my work schedule. My boarding group was C04, with a boarding time of 11-11:30am, I arrived at the Carnival terminal around 10:30am and immediately went to check in. It was a very ...

First, the food was definitely better than I expected. Being an old ship, the crew was great at keeping it clean. Our room steward (Miriam) was one of the best we ever had. We greatly enjoyed the Piano bar with Giovanni . The cruise itself was far better than expectations. They had lots of entertainment going on all day and night. We would of liked to stay in Key West a little longer because ...

We had an amazing time on the Conquest. This was our first experience on a cruise. The food was amazing in The Steak House was absolutely lovely very elegant type of set up. I had the crab risotto for my appetizer, the surf an turf was so delicious the lobster an steak was cooked to perfection. The staff made us feel like we were royalty. I would like to thank one staff in particular, housekeeping ...

I have cruised the Caribbean several times before. This time my friend and I were looking for a short cruise escape to de-stress so we took the Conquest 4-day cruise out of Miami knowing it was an old vessel. It was crowded all the time, with long lines at the buffet pizza place, deli station, everywhere. No dress or behavior code whatsoever. It felt like a market-place all day unless you were in ...
