We choose Celebrity based on 2 previous experiences that were great. Unfortunately this particular sailing did not measure up at all. We were very disappointed in the service, the food, and one of the 3 ports that we visited. It appeared that the staff that we encountered were not happy and it was demonstrated in the attitude towards the guests. People complained about the uncharges for simple ...
We (2 senior couples) travel frequently together but none of us have cruised previously. Overall, I have rated our experience as 5 star given our experiences and expectations. Both embarking and disembarking went extremely smoothly. We were especially impressed with the process of disembarking in Vancouver as we opted to take our luggage rather than having it delivered from the ship. We were among ...
The scenery was fantastic but the daytime activities on the ship were virtually non existent. Certainly not to our British taste. Gym was good and free, but Zumba was at an extra charge! Dining room (Trellis) was claustrophobic as the tables were so close together. Food was good but not outstanding. Drinks are very, very expensive! $5 plus tax for a bottle of water - more expensive than fuel ...
Last year we went on Eclipse just a Canary cruise , it suited us so we would try Infinity .
a smaller tired ship on board at 1130 am good start ,had lunch in the buffet it was ok then had a look around the ship it needs an uplift . Went to check on dining plan which was booked for any time dinning we were told our agent had changed it to 830 pm not impressed first night sat on table for ...
This was our first cruise, i was a bit sceptic of this experience, as we have always done our own travel arrangements , this trip we could not complain about anything it was excellent.
The staff, were first class, the entertainment was very good. also there was a well equipped gym at the front of the ship with beautiful views whilst you worked off all the wonderful food that served up each & ...
We absolutely loved this cruise! We are a 40 something couple with kids (that we left at home). This was pure pampering and relaxation (and adventure).
Cabin: We booked a suite guarantee and ended up with 9121, which is probably the worst suite on the ship location wise (and is also accessible). Ping Pong overhead was maddening at times - we had a Chinese pro player on board and ping pong ...
What a fabulous week we had on Celebrity Infinity to Alaska. We were lucky to have good weather but life aboard was exceptional. We specially enjoyed the two experts MickyLive and Derk's talks about the geology and wild life in Alaska. We enjoyed Aqua Class cabin and facilities and would recommend it to anyone pondering whether to spend the extra. We had a good selection of wines and drinks ...
This was part of our Bucket List, we also did the Rocky Mountaineer and spent time in Vancouver and Toronto.
We are seasoned cruisers and tend to pick a trip for the itinerary rather than the cruise line. This was our second Celebrity cruise having been on Eclipse in the Baltic.
The boarding was fairly straight forward even if it did take a while because you have to go through the US ...
I booked this cruise for a present for my husband who is 70 in 2017.... we have always wanted to see the glaciers for ourselves and experience the sounds and sights well this cruise did not disappoint us... from the start of booking it has been so easy as celebrity kind of walks you through everything from passports to visas to booking meals and drinks to off ship trips. on boarding you are ...
We joined the cruise in Vancouver having spend 3 nights there before departure.
Being the first cruise we had ever been on we was disappointed at the length of time we had to queue to complete the check in, which in total was over 2 hours. This could easily be speeded up by giving guests a check in slot. This was a painfully slow start to the cruise.
We had chosen celebrity select dining ...
