It’s all about food and surprises!
"So after a week on board my views on the ship or I would not do this ship on the Caribbean unless you’re a party animal- The ship has many small spaces but no focal point- The venues are small and don’t hold enough people and the shows pop up here in there and you don’t plan on it and most of them happen while you’re having dinner- The food on board the pizzeria is excellent Italian extra virgin is excellent and the week steakhouse is every bit as good as what you would get in New York City lamb chops filet mignon I rebooked and changed all my reservations to eat here for the remainder of the trip and they are open for brunch as well.Coming from New York City we recognize and understand good food and good service and those two restaurants are the top how are Cruises only half full so you may have issues in the Caribbean booking these two restaurants more than one night for your cruise...."Read More

Can't Wait to be Back on Board

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Valiant Lady

This was our third cruise with Virgin Voyages. We've had two on Scarlet Lady and this was our first on Valiant. It will not be our last. The ship is beautiful, easy to get around, and we love the smaller venues. It never feels like you are on a huge ship. The crew is outstanding. They work so hard and it pays off for sailors in big ways. The shows are fun, the food is great, and the inclusive ...

Now look-I am not an inexperienced cruiser – this is now my 16th cruise in the past eight years. But I’ve cruised enough to know what I like and what I don’t like. Lady is a bit of a mixed bag, and here’s why: Embarkation- this was really messy and left a bad first impression – we arrived about an hour and a half before our scheduled embarkation time. That’s not unusual – when you arrive in ...

Worst Cruise Ever

I was on the March 16-23, 2024 Southern Caribbean Cruise with the Atlantis Events charter group. I'll try to sum up best I can: 1) The Ship: Designed for Instagram, not for comfort. From the torturous metal furniture to the rock-hard cabin beds to Deck 16 -- half of which is cluttered with hideous private cabanas that obscure all views of the sea -- to the ridiculously tiny pool to the lack of ...

This was my second cruise on Virgin. I previously cruised Scarlet Lady July 2023 and was blown away. The cabin, the crew, it was a perfect trip. I didn't take advantage of the future booking deal onboard that cruise and regretted it immediately. I was delighted when they sent a post cruise offer, not as good but still something. I purchased and booked this cruise immediately. Unfortunately, it ...

We were really expecting a lot on our first Virgin cruise and maybe thats where it went wrong but all the reviews and the language the company uses- we were super excited. PROS: Embarkation was a breeze and the cabins are ready as soon as you board- this is a huge deal because you can relax, get organized, go to the bathroom, etc. You are given a time to board and they really go by it which ...

Not handicap friendly

My 25 cruise, our 7th company cruise, we took 44 people. Me the majority owner, I have ALS, got the gorgeous suite, room itself was very nice but I could not even get in and out of room by myself, because door was so heavy and me in powerchair. Shower was 3’ x 3’, handicap bench was about 14” off floor, anyone that’s handicap knows we need to sit at 24”-26”. No handicap lift for pool or spa, had ...

First off relax and understand the ship isn’t just what the TV commercial depict. It’s not some over the top wild college party but instead it’s just a really good time with people of all ages and backgrounds. Food overall very good, wouldn’t quite say great. Drinks excellent and don’t mind the bar tab idea. Entertainment is excellent, live music entertainment was great, the shows are great, and ...

Absolutely loved the ship. Great size and easy to navigate. Favorite spot was The Dock. Get the shrimp and polenta for a quick bite. Did unique drink events Like Paint and Bubbles and Champagne and Chicken. Crew was great and enjoyed escape from kids. Terrace hammock is greatest invention ever. Just need 2 so don't have to fight over who gets it! Food was great. Liked the galley setup and the ...

I went on this cruise with 5 people, four of whom had diverse needs (power chair, visually impaired). We were drawn to the no kids, all inclusive aspect along with the great reviews and nature of the entertainment. The price was great, the room dimensions looked accommodating for power chairs and so we booked it (and then I booked two other weeks with friends for a month later). I waited until I ...

Very disappointed. Went on a Med cruise with them in October and it was great . This Caribbean cruise was like night and day. The embarkation was a mess and took almost 2 hours! The first hour was spent outside in the hot sun. The food went way downhill. They are out of a lot of items and the food is mostly cold or lukewarm and not tasty. The pizza is even bad now. The food was much better on the ...
